Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is based on how far in advance you notify us before your scheduled arrival. The earlier you cancel, the more flexible your options.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for:

• A refund to the original payment method, minus any reservation or transaction fees, OR
   
• A Reservation Credit for the original amount paid, less any reservation or transaction fees
   
  • Valid for 365 days
     
  • May be applied to future Lodging or Camping reservations (not valid for 4x4/UTV Daily Vehicle Passes)

Cancellations made 15 to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date are not eligible for a monetary refund, but guests may receive:

• A Reservation Credit for 80% of the original reservation value (20% rebooking fee applies)
   
• Credit valid for 365 days, usable for Lodging or Camping reservations (not valid for 4x4/UTV Daily Vehicle Passes)

Cancellations made 5 to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable, but guests may receive:

• A Reservation Credit for 50% of the original reservation value (50% rebooking fee applies)
   
• Credit valid for 365 days, usable for Lodging or Camping reservations (not valid for 4x4/UTV Daily Vehicle Passes)
   

Email info@ruggedmountainranch.com when ready to rebook.

Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• No refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

For added flexibility, guests may purchase Cancellation Protection at the time of booking for $20 (non-refundable).
This add-on allows you to cancel up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival and receive:

• A full Reservation Credit for 100% of your booking total
   
• Credit is valid for 365 days, transferable to another guest
   
• Can be used toward Lodging or Camping reservations (excludes 4x4/UTV Daily Vehicle Passes)
   

Without Cancellation Protection, standard cancellation terms apply based on your notice period.
Cancellation Protection must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

Q: What if I cancel the same day I book?
A: Your cancellation terms are based on your arrival date, not your booking date. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you're eligible for a refund or credit (minus applicable fees).

Q: Are reservation or credit card fees refundable?
A: No. All refunds and Reservation Credits are issued less any reservation and transaction fees, which are non-recoverable.

Q: Can I use my Reservation Credit for anything?
A: Credits are valid for Lodging and Camping Reservations only and expire 365 days after issue. They cannot be used for 4x4/UTV Day Passes.

Q: Can I transfer my Reservation Credit to a friend or family member?
A: Yes, if you purchased Cancellation Protection, your credit is transferable. Without protection, credits are non-transferable.

Q: What if I forgot to buy Cancellation Protection and need to cancel?
A: Cancellation Protection must be purchased at the time of booking. Without it, your cancellation is subject to the standard policy based on the timing of your cancellation.
